One Week Old Bluebirds

Exciting time in WHB Clubhouse 1925-85, with the arrival of 5 baby blues the first week of May.  This picture was taken when they were approximately one week old.  Not a pretty site, but definitely one only a mother would love.  No feathers and alot of exposed skin.

 When we view a nesting box, we tap a few times to make sure there is no one on the inside and then carefully open up the door.  Take a few quick pictures and close the door.  The entire process should take around 30 seconds so not to anger the parents.
